I just gotta chime in here.
I use Walmart family mobile and it's awesome.
I did the math and I'll save like $2000 over the span of a 2 year contract with little trade off.
I'm always on the look out for the best deal and I would appreciate anyone double checking this for me.

Samsung Galaxy S9 (Aprox what an S10 goes for now) $864.47
Walmart sim kit - about $25
Actual monthly payment $27.83 x 24 months = $667.92

This is about $1558

BUT with no phone insurance (which is a whole separate debate).
you can add a extra $864.47 though for good measure so... $2423
$2423 for a top-of-the-line phone (and 1 replacement) and 2 years unlimited talk, text, and data of great (not perfect) service.

I've had it for years and NO issues to report, I love it.

Ik I'm late, but s10s are 680 on Amazon. Check them out:

They're selling S10 for $599 and S10+ for $699 on amazon if you have prime. Definitely the best deal out there right now.

This is happening with all consumer tech right now. Consumer tech companies are realizing they can keep increasing the prices and people still buy the products. Just look at bluetooth headphones if you want a good laugh. They will be selling bluetooth headphones at $500 in the next 5 years and they will have barely more useful features than the current offerings.

Flagship phones several years ago were $400-500 and midrange were $250. Now flagships are $800+ and midrange is considered $400. Flagship phones have not had that much improvements/innovation recently, so to keep the prices up they are just adding more cameras.

I haven't researched the other brands you listed but right now an LG G8 (released March 2019) is currently at $500 on amazon.

Compare that to Samsung's regular S10 (also released March 2019) is priced at $800 on amazon.

Thanks a lot for your response, that's actually a good point you're making about the bands. I'm in the US.

This is the one I was referring to: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Factory-Unlocked-Phone/dp/B07N4M412B/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=samsung%2Bgalaxy%2Bs10&qid=1564371463&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1

Did research the model after you mentioned that point and it seems to support all the bands.
