What's wrong with a nice money clip? You could slide your card out of a money clip much faster then you can unbind it. I have this one.
I've been using a brass moneyclip that my dad gave me for well over 10 years now, and I can't imagine going back to an actual wallet of any description.
I highly recommend you have a shot at just using a moneyclip for your cards and cash (cards in the middle, cash folded in half over them). You'd have a very hard time finding a more lightweight and compact wallet!
