Pure capsaicin is 16+ million scoville units, meaning an 80% sauce would need to be nearly 13 million units.
I've had a few sauces that go beyond 1 million and they are not fun. Your body is basically telling your brain that it is on fire and you go into survival mode.
If you really want to destroy yourself, you can try making a sauce using something like Blair's Reserve Extract which can go between 600,000 and 16 million scovilles depending on what you buy.
Personally, I'm finding that the best tasting sauces are in the few hundred thousands. Blair's Death sauce and Mad Dog 357 are absolutely delicious.
These ghost pepper flakes are pretty awesome as well.
Fun Fact! As of February, the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion is now the worlds hottest pepper, with some peppers reaching 2 million scovilles!
Wrong kind of sprinkles.

The brand I use comes in 3oz containers because it takes avoid bit to use up, but this is what popped up in a quick search. I like using the flakes because it doesn't have all the vinegars that are in hot sauces, which reAlly changes the flavor (although sometimes that works okay). These just add heat. I add regular crushed red pepper and season after with these to get my level of heat (opposed to the husband and kids)
Also side note, your grandma's recipe is almost exactly the way I do mine, just mine has a wetter said and uses no boil noodles so I'm super impressed with myself for having a grandma level recipe lol
put a little on and spread it out with a knife. Or you could just use this
