I picked up a white noise elephant toy from my "Amazon Baby Registry" so I could get the registry box, but I'm starting to worry I messed something up because I never got confirmation that the box is coming!

I also picked up a playmat and mini-guitar on Black Friday for super cheap: hubs and I play a lot of Rockband, so baby can now rock out with us!

Edit: Also, a couple of super cute, non-gendered onesies that were on super sale :)

Poor tiny thing, her pacis just disappeared one day with no explanation at all. I don't think she had enough receptive language at the time to understand even if we had tried to explain though.

Here's what we got her: http://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infant-Slumber-Buddies-Elephant/dp/B00CIOXTF4/ref=pd_sim_75_78?ie=UTF8&dpID=41v6DklAfYL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=0WGZTYCT23ESD7WDX98X
She doesn't much care for stuffed animals in general; I think it's the lights and sounds that she likes.

Yeah, my daughter was scared of the dark when she was two. She's three now, and still has her moments "It's spooky daddy!"

A nightlight didn't really work for her. She wound up falling in love with one of those nightlights that projects stars onto the ceiling. Lights the room in very soothing colors and gives her something to think about other then the dark (like counting the stars)

Lemme see if i can find it....Here it is!

Ellie had this problem. solved it with this.

It turns itself off after 15 minutes, has multiple light colors, makes music and heartbeat sounds, and fills a decently-sized nursery with not-too-bright stars! She loves it and is out before the light goes out.

I use this summer infant slumber buddy. My mom got it for me, and it has turned out to be very useful. It lights up just enough so I can see to feed/change LO, and turns off by itself after a certain amount of time (that you can change with the setting underneath.)
