I have set of Mulefuts that I've setup tubeless a handful of times. I use the Sun/Sunringle brand rimstrip and the Sun/Sunringle brand tape (1 layer) and they've been solid.
The only slight leak I had when I first set them up was from the valve. Nothing leaking through the cutouts.
