If you look up a bluetooth transmitter, you'll be able to find what you are asking about. Instead of plugging it into the Atom's headphone jack, you'd be better off plugging into your DAC's output.

Ideally, you'd be looking for something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQ87RVT/ref=emc_b_5_t

I've never used the one I linked but I'm just sending it as an example. You'll have to look around for different options.

It does; I was looking at this one since it's long range, plus it supports aptx hd.

is there literally no route to let you run a cable directly from the TV to your night stand?

i'd recommend a SPIDF cable long enough to dress along the wall and around the room to your night stand, then a little headphone amp, if you wanted to be fancy pants and have the best possible sound quality.

you don't have any analog audio outs from your TV, unless there's an earphone jack somewhere on the bottom edge. using that would probably mute the TV.

what and where is the source for the TV? you can use that for your audio source too.

they make off the shelf bluetooth transmitters for what you're trying to do.

I'd get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Headphones/dp/B07NQ87RVT allows you to use 2 pairs of headphones at the same time and has optical.
