Most people, myself included, use an armband like this. They key for me is to make sure I don't over-tighten it, otherwise it gets uncomfortable fast. But also make sure it's not so loose that it's sliding around.
complaint I somewhat dread my weekday runs because i run 5k's and push myself for decent times. I enjoy my weekend runs much more because i run longer distances at a much easier pace.
complaint I have an armband like this and i hate it. Been looking at the gear fit 2, but i also like to listen to audio books and the gear fit 2 probably won't hold most books.
I keep thinking the one I have is a steaming pile of dino dung and that I need to replace it, but then I realize I got it in August of last year and it's seen hundreds and hundreds of miles... It started to fall apart quickly, but then just...stopped falling apart more? I don't recommend it, regardless.
Still, I'll get a new one after the summer.
I bought a arm-band to hold it. This one had really really solid reviews and I enjoy it. There are of course other options, and this one was on the cheaper scale.

Also great for running, which is my main use for it.
I think most/all armbands that work with the iPhone 6+/6S+ should work with the Nexus 6P.
I've been using this one with good results, although I had to buy a second one because the velcro strip on the first one started to come off after several months of daily usage. It's pretty cheap, though, so it's not a big deal if I have to buy another one every few months.
I buy character sweatpants from Hot Topic and Boxlunch. They usually have pretty good sales. I also love that most of them have pockets. I do agree getting bluetooth headphones is a good idea or also getting her phone armband sleevelike this one on amazon
I like this one. I take a Sharpie to the branding on it though because it's a derogatory term for a homosexual in Spanish.
I would avoid this one cuz the edges are unfinished and it wore a hole in my side where running in a tank-top.
