The problem is that there is technically a wire that must connect to the controller itself. That's honestly most of the problem. haha. I might just have to fortify and buy a new pair.

I have the XO sevens made by Turtlebeach. So far they've been great. They are extremely comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. It comes with a detachable mic boom, which is nice too. I had a pair of the official Microsoft headphones before and they were garbage. The XO sevens are a bit pricey, but in my experiences, it's worth it.

I purchased the Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Seven headset a few months back and am extremely happy. Right now they're going for $99.97 on Amazon. There's only one wire that goes right into the controller, it's a comfortable fit (I have a huge head), the sound is top notch, and my friends all say the mic sounds crystal clear. Regarding the headset, if you have the money, I'd suggest the Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Seven.

i have the xo seven had them for about a week the sound quality is top notch very comfy and look amazing in black and green for £100 not to bad
