you are looking for a 2x2 Matrix. most 2x2 Matrix switches are not true matrices(?) however even though they are called that, you might have to look at a 4x2 or 6x2.

I wanted an HDMI switch that would also take the audio signal from the Chromecast to my surround sound when the TV is off.
This one works great.
No splinters are needed, and I have never had the need to record higher than 18Mbps. 30Mbps sounds like overkill.
