if you still want to upgrade, this plugs into the aux port and gives you control over music while driving without looking down at your phone. It also pairs with your device with a click of the button so it's pretty easy.

which is unavailable unfortunately. They look to be the same thing but just rebranded though. Highly recommended.
I have a 2013 countryman. I"solved" it by adding a Bluetooth --> AUX bridge. It connects two Bluetooth devices at the same times and works great. Here's the one I used:
