Actually, I can. I was a veterinary assistant and can tell you the beagle is trying to clean the boxers ears. This could be because the boxer really needs an ear cleaning (especially if it's one ear more than the other), and if so the saliva can actually cause an even worse infection than the beagle already smells.. OR the beagle is showing it's submissiveness. Either way saliva is bad for this dog's inner and they need to be cleaned every 2 weeks to counteract the saliva. Just please don't use the rubbing alcohol+ water mix lots of people say to use, that definitely causes some problems. This one is the best, in my opinion. No fragrance, not a medication, and you can just squirt it on a couple of q-tips and wiggle it around in the ear to see if there's anything in there. A little is fine, but lots of gunk= vet visit asap for deep cleaning so the infection doesn't spread to the brain.
