Even so, read the reviews on the Amazon page for the MadCatz wheel. Seems like a decent wheel at $150, but now the whole Fanatec setup (wheel & pedals) costs the same as this MadCatz setup.

The only reason I could see going MadCatz is if you're adamant about playing on the couch; the Fanatec doesn't include any provision for a lap mount.

(I have bias and/or first-hand experience, as I've used my Fanatec CSR w/ Clubsport pedals since early December 2011.)
