It's nice to see two comments to this already and neither are flaming you for using a controller on PC. Maybe the war is over. I got a [gold chrome Xbox 360 controller] (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Controller-Gold-Chrome/dp/B00EFRNG0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416105134&sr=8-1&keywords=gold+chrome+xbox+360+controller&pebp=1416105135571) on sale last year and have been using it for all of my controller-worthy games. The only drawback is that you need a [wireless receiver] (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000HZFCT2), but other than that, it's perfect.
