I bought this as a joke gift for my car nut dad years ago and he never touched it. It definitely makes the struggle a bit easier - I just use it with Windex.
There's a theory that it's the off-gassing from the dashboard sitting the sun that leads to that greasy, ugly, nasty film on your windshield. I use Invisible Glass and rubbing alcohol.
