Bought it through Amazon from a Chinese manufacturer. May have been a knockoff. I'm pretty sure it's a design flaw so a replacement ring would not have lasted much longer. All the strain between the ring and the cage goes through the tab which has a notch cut out for holding all the pieces in place. The resin simply doesn't have the strength.

EDIT: Obviously not the same device, but it has the same two part cage design which I liked. If I was going to spend the money, I would definitely consider Evotion.
