Good news!

Yes, but that GPU is absolutely dogshit value. The 750ti was a great card when it came out in early 2014, but there's absolutely no reason to buy one anymore.

Take a look at the GTX 1050ti.

£55.19 i7 860

£129.95 Zotac GTX 1050 Ti Mini

£20.99 Crucial 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3

These would be the best upgrades IMO. Even older i7s are still amazing processors. Yes, a GTX 1050 or RX 460 would be supported by your mobo.

Best is to just go to the manufactures website and look at specs.

That being said, unless it is a tax thing, you can get these NEW from amazon for under 150 pounds, which comes with warranty and return and all that jazz.
Here is one for 150

Here is like, a slightly faster one for 155

Here is a solid one for 130

None of those linked require a power connector.

You can probably just go for the cheapest 1050 Ti you can find. Right now, midrange to high end GPUs are in high demand and it's causing inflated prices. The 1050 Ti is the best value at a budget price. The next step up is the GTX 1060 6 GB but it costs almost twice as much.

Cheapest 1050 Ti on PCPP: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01M8M5T4T/?tag=pcp05-21

Cheapest 1060 6GB on PCPP: https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/6GB-ZOTAC-GeForce-GTX-1060-Mini-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_1114013.html

There is a 3GB version of the GTX 1060, but just 3GB of video RAM might cause it to fall behind in the future. It's faster than the 1050 Ti but it's not worth the extra money.

Anything above the 1060 will be limited by your CPU.

I took a check, and would say not to buy in Sweden - in Ireland it is the same due to high costs and not having a very big market, you will not get good value for money. However I checked in Germany and it seemed... ok-ish. But I made a dummy address in Stockholm on my Amazon UK account and came up with this for €580

(NOTE: pay in GBP, not EUR or SWK as Amazon inflate the exchange rate by a good 5c or so if you do). Delivery is only €10, so you're doing pretty great there (and the weak pound has been awesome for buying stuff on Amazon lately)!

Hey guys i have a hp compaq dc5850 small form factor pc
and i was wondering if i could install a Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4 GB Mini or a AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core without overpowering the PSU.

Thanks for any help you can give guys!

Buy this. I know it says £176 but check other sellers and you'll see that amazon.co.uk sells it directly for £130. But sadly it's out of stock. You can place an order and they'll deliver when stock is resupplied. It's better than the 1050.

okay so do you recommend the GV-N105TOC-4GD or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zotac-GeForce-1050Ti-Mini-Graphics/dp/B01M8M5T4T/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 this one that was suggested earlier.

Or if you're not sure, I supposed I should just make a new thread asking?

For anyone with a crystal ball (or experience buying/selling), if I was to buy a new GTX 1050 now and upgrade in a few months time (1060/1070/1080 I don't know what I need yet), how much less would I fetch on ebay? For example buying this at this price.

hi, selling my 1050ti as i upgraded to a 1070ti. Looking for around 70 pound but open to offers. Condition is pretty good, used in a well aired rig simply for gaming for the past year. Can't include original box but will put in anti static bag and different cardboard box.

You can get a 570 for 165£. And the cheapest 1050ti are around 128£.

They are in the same class, not too far from how the 480 and 1060 are. Amd is saying that the price premium is well worth the performance difference. Agree or disagree with your wallet.

And if you want to consider the 470 They've been as low as 140£ for the 4 and 165 for the 8.
