I've been finding Steven Gurgevich's hypnosis sessions really helpful. I've noticed a significant increase in my level of calmness since I've been listening to them. I've got Heal Yourself with Medical Hypnosis (general purpose; not just for medical issues) and Relax Rx.

Audible has several others and there are more on amazon in digital music. Even if the idea of hypnosis doesn't immediately appeal to you, maybe get a single session for 99¢, such as Progressive Relaxation, to see if you find it effective.

If you do decide to try this, I hope you find it as helpful as I do.
EDIT:
I also highly recommend Anna Wise's The High Performance Mind — an excellent set of guided meditations. And again, you can get single tracks for 99¢.

I actually used to be a Christian Dj a long time ago, and I've kept up with the music (I actually haven't had time in the last year, so some of this may be older, but hyperlinks to Amazon are included - I'm sure most are on iTunes as well). I broke them down by what I consider the top 6 genres of music that MOST people listen to - I excluded genres like classical, chanting, opera, country, etc. These are all Christian artists that happen to love making music that I enjoy. Many of these artists have additional albums, but I linked the ones I know I like. EXPLORE!!!

I highly highly recommend you keep doing this mindfulness exercise during your sessions. If you're having trouble getting in the zone, there are some guided meditation tracks out there that are really helpful.
I'm not talking "imagine yourself on a peaceful beach" guided meditations, which are pleasant but don't really train any skills other than relaxation. I mean actual mindfulness practice.
I highly suggest the last 2 tracks from this album, which you can buy individually:
http://www.amazon.com/Urban-Meditation-Vol-1-buddhify/dp/B00HNYWRF2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405107602&sr=8-1&keywords=buddhify
Rest is for when you're tired and need a break. Scan is when you want to develop clarity and awareness more deeply.
From Volume 2: http://www.amazon.com/Urban-Meditation-Vol-2-buddhify/dp/B00HNYYNV8/ref=pd_sim_dmusic_a_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0AZ4YJ3HV55EC7P4XFWS
Rain is excellent for stress, anxiety, worry. Switch and Sense are also good general mindfulness practices to develop both clarity and relaxation at the same time.
In terms of montages, I'd ask you to keep anode on F3 but try the left styloid (behind the ear) for the cathode. You can also try anode on F1 and cathode behind the ear. You might be impressed with the results -- it's not necessarily a good thing to suppress the right prefrontal cortex. Some studies have shown benefits, which is no surprise, but some studies have also shown harm because there are important emotion processing centers all across the right PFC.
Not sure why it hasn't been mentioned before, but
Dr. Chesky's Sensational, Fantastic, and Simply Amazing Binaural Sound Show was made solely for headphone use. It's pretty intense with a good rig.
Seconded. Great choice of songs, played well and fun to listen to. Another good one from recent years is Aimee Mann's "Drifter in the Snow."
A couple more recent compilations I like are Psych-Out Christmas, "A John Waters Christmas" and "Where Will You Be Christmas Day?".
The all-time greats everyone should have are Phil Spector, Vince Guaraldi, Bing Crosby and a rockin' oldies compilation of your choice.
This was an interesting challenge. There have been plenty of threads with "your favorite music" or "what music am I missing." Responding to "I've never really heard music before" is interesting. I had to think about my music and really think about it. I tried to winnow it down as much as I could. There are some on here that aren't as strong as I thought when I first added them, but decided to leave them. There are artists here who I just had to pick a few representative songs, but you really should listen to all their stuff, Neko Case in particular. And there's still a lot I think I could have added, but there's already a lot of other music listed by other people. Enjoy it all!
Cat Stevens - The Wind
Yusuf Islam - All Kinds of Roses
Neko Case - Furnace Room Lullaby
Neko Case - Deep Red Bells
Ephemera - Happy, Grateful, Aware
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Luscious Jackson - Water Your Garden
Luscious Jackson - Take A Rude
Delerium - Aria
Lemon Jelly - Space Walk
Lemon Jelly - Nice Weather For Ducks
Lisa Hannigan - I Don't Know
Lisa Hannigan - Lille
Radical Face - Welcome Home
Sufjan Stevens - Man of Metropolis Steal Our Hearts
Sufjan Stevens - The Predatory Wasp Of The Palisades Is Out To Get Us
The Doors - Riders on The Storm
The Doors - The End
The Moody Blues - Tuesday Afternoon
The Moody Blues - Your Wildest Dreams
Vienna Teng - Eric's Song
Vienna Teng - The Last Snowfall
