Recipe!
Put everything (except the Brandy) in a large pot and bring to a simmer, you don't want to bring the temperature too high because you'll start burning off the alcohol. Don't let it boil. Let it simmer for like 10 mins, until all the flavors sort of mingle. Reduce the heat to low add in the brandy (to bring the alcohol level back up and let it sit at really low heat for another 10 mins to mellow the brandy. Turn the heat off and let it sit for another 10 mins and drink while still warm!
I recommend straining out the spices and orange chunks before drinking, especially important if you plan on bottling.
edit:
If you can't find the mulling spices in store, you can order it on Amazon
edit 2:
It's called “Mulled wine” not mulling wine. Blame the brandy ;)
Done! I used 1oz of mulling spices, specifically this tea from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/R-W-Knudsen-Organic-Mulling-Spices/dp/B004SI6MYI?th=1
Dry red wine, cranberry juice, and mulling spice in a crock pot or pan.
Step 1: Heat up some shitty red wine
Step 2: Drop in some Glühfix
Step 3: Sugar. Lots of Sugar.
Step 4: Mahlzeit.
