I just picked one up myself at a local retro store. I wanted one so bad when they came out, but I opted for the GBC instead. I picked up these game packs too:

After SNK went under all the remaining stock was bought by a company that repackaged everything in these really strange blister packs, so these are still technically brand new games. Not too shabby. The Sonic title is actually really great and I definitely recommend Dark Arms. It's like Zelda with zombies and craftable guns.

The boxed version is. ~7 years ago I remember seeing the Capcom Version on Amazon new (maybe just CIB) for $30 but the SNK Version was sold out.

Loose? Nope. The SNK Version is in one of two game blister pack variants, while the Capcom Version isn't. You can buy the cart only for less on eBay, but this blister new for $25 is a pretty good deal if you're curious about every game in it. Or this person has sold over a hundred carts for $10 [here](http://stores.ebay.com/videogamessource/?_dmd=2&_nkw=capcom+card+fighters) with your choice of US, UK, or two UK. Notice how I searched Capcom but only the SNK version shows! You're right on the inverse, however. I can't find anyone selling the Capcom version en mass, likely because it never had a blister and Capcom characters are more popular today.

If your not techie... there is the PS2 ports which aren't bad. AES and NeoSD Pro are second but your gonna spend at least a grand getting setup plus the conversion of ROM to the NeoSD might be a pain (I'm still waiting to get one so I can't comment 100%). There is RetroPi but you said you didn't have luck with Emulation. MiSTer is awesome but again a pain to setup and hunt down all the roms. Neither is a great collection, but the Arcade Stick has a path to add more games.

So far as I know, the neo geo mini has no hack yet, but this one already has one usb hack, it is slow to install the first time (like 30-40mins) but it works.

I just know a little about the C64, but you could connect a usb keyboard, also, there is one cfw that you could add games from the usb stick. But not sure how many can you put.
