I buy these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00X6JHY3S/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 on Amazon. They're my favorite. They are very thin with flat edges and not shiny so they're barely visible. They have good staying power and work great.

If you need a new reliable brand, I really like the MEDca ones and it’s a 3-pack for like $8:

I just came across these patches and you get a lot more than most brands.
Acne Patch, Poppyo Acne Care Pimple Patch Absorbing Round Pads, Blemish Covers - Hydrocolloid Bandages (108 Count), Acne Spot Treatment for Face & Skin Spot Patch That Conceals Acne https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QPLX6KX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AQYvDbFZ5GT03

This is the brand I get Avarelle Acne Absorbing Cover Patch Hydrocolloid, Tea Tree, Calendula Oil, CICA (40 ROUND PATCHES) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QNC39Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yUYvDb3ARPG7A I like them a little bit more than cosrx because it has tea tree, centella asiatica, and calendula oil in it.

u/benirehtac · 4 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Avarelle brand sells large squares. I've never tried them, but I found them when I was searching for a large hydrocolloid. Expensive but could be fun to try.

I have been using this brand of skin products for years and only found the acne patch recently. The best thing about these things is that once you put it on it camouflaged the spot, even looking in the mirror and I cannot see the patch and can hardly see the acne underneath. I sometimes put one on at night and in the morning all the gunk has been pulled out and is on the patch.

I would recommend washing your the area after taking the patch off as if you were washing off makeup or oils from the skin, the gunk that's pulled out can easily smear and get into other pores. Generally, they take the pimples from there is a volcano on my face, to there is a flat slightly red spot on my face in about 12 hours. I have used a few different brands, there dose not seem to be a huge difference from one brand to another, but they are as close to a magic wand for skin as I can imagine.

I love hydrocolloid patches for being that barrier to physically prevent me from touching the parts of my face begging to be touched.

u/Mrs_Pucklehuggins · 1 pointr/ReviewThis

I've used these Purederm strip things before. They can be a bit tricky to apply, it seems like you have to get the exact right amount of wetness or they don't stick properly. The first time I used one it seemed to get a lot out, but perhaps not the really deep ones.

However, about a month ago I stopped using any kind of cleanser or soap on my face (I used to use a cleanser every night) and just started using water instead. My skin feels a lot better and my blackheads have slowly been disappearing. Not so much on my nose yet, but my chin has almost completely cleared up. I think my blackheads were caused by keeping my face so unnaturally clean. So that might be an idea, though I guess it probably varies for different people.

u/PeggyAnne08 · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I do. The CosRx Pimple Patches are popular on here. I use the Nexcare version or Clearasil ones because they are available at my local drugstore.

u/ThirteenDream · 2 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

These are my favorites. They are very thin. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00X6JHY3S?psc=1

Before you go to sleep you could cover up your pimples with hydrocolloid patches, they’ll serve a dual purpose of helping the pimples heal and keeping you from picking them.

For example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FSRPNPL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8FsnDbQ29TF96

They're also on Amazon now!

HANHOO BLEMISH PATCH, 36CT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7XYGC1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_rsE7CbNWG0HDH

u/peony_chalk · 7 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I found cheek-sized ones (US Amazon link), at least.

u/ayimera · 11 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I've not tried any brand besides Hanhoo for blemish patches, but you can get 2 packs of 36 for $5.75 on amazon, or single packs at Walmart for $2.50, and they work amazingly well. They come with 2 sizes and I cut the larger ones in half to make my money go further.

HANHOO BLEMISH PATCH, 36CT PACK OF 2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MWPW6XD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_upvwDbVEVJSEJ

These are the ones I use, but I’ve seen some people on the sub say they get some cheap ones from Walmart or Walgreens.

u/mrkidsister · 1 pointr/CompulsiveSkinPicking

Hydrocolloid patches have helped me in the evenings when I'm in. I'll reach to pick but the patch will remind me to stop, AND it's healing the spot underneath. It helps keep mine moisturized and protected from drying and my fingers. Some are almost invisible, so I wear them out when needed on a bad spot.

u/agreywood · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I like these. The edges lay fairly flat against the skin and they are not shiny. I think the corsx ones work a bit better (and I like the variable sizes) but the shine and lack of a flat edge mean I feel awkward wearing them during the day.

u/wrapunzel · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

They're these little patch bandages that suck out pus/oil. I find they work quite well.

MEDca Acne Pimple Master Patch Absorbing Cover 24 Count Three Sizes 10 Sheets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WV7J3T8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_CyDrzbXBT8CPV

Ordered off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N224F9Z/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I ran out of my patches and I use a lot, so I bought multiple packs at once 5 sheets for $13.68.

However, the packaging has changed, it smells like petrol, and has changed in look and stickiness. Wtf.

Sephora carries Hydrocolloid nose Strips -

I haven't tried them myself yet, I just buy these large square patches & cut them in half for my nose -

Maybe I just got a bunk brand. I should have picked some up when I was checking out my Amazon cart today. I picked up some goofy COSRX blackhead removing silk finger balls that didn't get great reviews, but still look fun as hell to use!
