I got that and was leery of a vent mount, but now I love it. I put it on the driver side center vent on the lowest most slot. Being on the bottom it fits in such a way that the vents can't move downward and bounce around. Its solid and exactly where I want the phone. Easy to see without looking down much but doesnt block the windshield at all.
The holder itself is really nice quality. The action of the arms releasing the phone is super smooth. Every few weeks it gets slightly loose and I just unclamp and reclamp it and it's good to go.
Not sure how I'll feel in the summer when the AC is on

Oooh, I honestly dont know. I bought mine from the dealership but returned it as the original was still in good condition. I'd call the dealership and request the part number, they should be able to give you that. I found this, and apparently it will fit our Frontier, but I can't say with absolute certainty. Here are a couple of pics I took this morning. I was scrambling a bit this morning and couldn't get any more pictures (ended up having to drop it off at the dealership for transmission problems).

I do recall picking up a new surround for around the radio to clean it up. I also had to some minor trims on the top and bottom to make it fit. The mic has a super long wire on it, so I managed to be able to route it along the dashboard up the pillar in to the ceiling. The head unit also ships with a GPS receiver and I left that on top of the dash near the base of the windshield. You will want to track down an Pioneer-Nissan interface kit, I ended up soldering all the connections and it works great. Just far easier if you can find an adapter instead.

I was also curious about this when I discovered my 17 SV didn't have a proper computer, just Trip A and B. Someone suggested an aftermarket computer like the one linked below, but frankly I didn't want to spend the money and I got over it. Now I reset my trip and quickly compute my mileage when I fill up at the pumps. I also know roughly how many KMs I get a tank so it hasn't really bothered me too much. You could try calling your dealership and seeing if they will install a different computer but something tells me it will be a hefty bill. Best of luck.

Oh....and extra 3M automotive tape to help secure the lights to the hood. The rubber bumper I added is a "foot" for an electronics project box. Just happened to be lying around. This is secured to the hood with a dot if 3M tape.
