Yea, VHB is nice to have for really strong permanent bonds, when super glue might be too stiff (or not enough surface contact) and epoxy too messy.

For thinner bonds (like a steel plate to the inside of my phone case for magnetic mounts), while maintaining a strong enough permanent bond, I like ATG tape. I prefer 969, which is strong than 924.
