You are confusing the amount of power used by the bulb (50 watts) with the light produced (lumens). The housing has very little to do with it, unless you use a reflector trim to bounce more of the produced light into the room.

Decide what kind of bulb you want, then look at fixtures that will accept it.

Here is a very inappropriate light for you to look at. It is 50 watts, yet produces 5000 lumens. It would have taken 330 watts of incandescent light bulbs to produce the same amount of light:

I got these light bulbs that are all LEDs, on the sides and straight down. I put those in my two garage lights and it lit it up great. That may help in that one fixture I see. (Still probably need more on the right though)
