Yeah. It's a stupid basic design really. I had initially tried using a complex and jankey adustable fastener system to hold the tent legs in place before I realized that friction was enough.

The wood is from a big plywood board I bought at the home depot. I laquered the bottom plank and that now provides plenty enough friction that I don't need to worry about the support peg slipping.

That way I won't have screws sticking out of the wood so far lol.
