If you have a medical emergency like a heart attack the EMS people may not know where your van is. You are exposed to injury by picking up heavy things like 60 pound batteries. Tendons are easily injured, lead exposure is not a problem. Don't lick the batteries. Hot things like exhaust manifolds will burn you. The real boogey men stand up straight and spit in your face.
