It's not going to be the same quality of a Nintendo brand product, but it might do the trick, and for 7 bucks+shipping doesn't break the bank if you really want to play gamecube games again.
The reviews are hit or miss though, but I'm sure spare cables that won't break the bank are all over amazon or ebay.
