I just bought one of these butane inserts. There shouldn't be an issue with this evaporating since butane lighters are air tight.

Mine doesn't fill quite right, but it's cheap, and still gets the job done. I'll buy another when this one inevitably breaks.

YMMV but I've had it since August of last year and it gets used almost every day and still works great. For $10 I couldn't ask for anything better. Jetline and Lotus make decent torch inserts as well.
