So I'll start this by saying this is not a sponsored advertisement of any kind..
I hate bugs. Anything with more than four legs just creeps me out. So when I moved to Arizona, and saw some of the creepy crawlies we get here, I knew I needed an answer.
Enter the "Bug-A-Salt" salt shotgun.
This thing has been so handy at expelling the multipede miscreants from my home. Load it up with normal table salt, rack your salt gun, flip the safety off and fire. (Always practice safe firearm etiquette, even with this item!) The salt disperses and is cleaned up easy enough. I have two pups at home myself and I know if I'm just putting salt around then it won't harm them.
Now when bugs enter my Home I give them the ol' what's what. Like the other posters said, get mad at the bugs. But after you get mad, get even. Show them who's the boss with the Bug-A-Salt.
