Looks like a setup for a halogen bulb. Is there a model number on the lamp anywhere?

Edit: YX032 (number on the socket) http://en.09635.com/pd/6029945/G9-Halogen-Lampholder-Ceramic-Lamp-Holder-with-VDE-cUL-CQC-Certficate-YX032-B4-.htm uses a G9 halogen lamp with a ceramic base. A 60 Watt bulb can be found on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/CBConcept-Brand-Halogen-120Volt-60Watt/dp/7801032314 or do a web search. They do come in less watts too.

Edit 2: Note, that bulb is frosted. Any halogen with a g9 base should work. You don't have to use a ceramic base bulb. Just wanted to clarify.

I'm betting if you tug on it (to separate the two rectangular ceramic blocks) you will find that it is a g9 wedge base, just a ceramic base where most g9 halogen bulbs would be glass all the way down
