Corsair Strafe MK.2 RGB Keyboard

I have this keyboard, but there is the 1st version that is just as good, but looks a bit different and it’s cheaper.

Here’s the original Strafe if you don’t want to pay as much

Lol, I gotta find a good everything. Been wanting to build a computer for myself since I was 10... finally making decent money to afford it. Got a Vega 64 and 2x16GB DDR4-3200 already. Need to pick up the case, motherboard+CPU, SSDs, power supply, FreeSync monitor... oh yeah and build a desk for all of this crap 😂

Edit: Oh just got an RGB LED mech keyboard. Taking a flyer on this bad boy.

I have a corsair strafe RGB,

Specifically this one,

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07658C2VQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still running strong after a year, even though its refurbished.

I have a Yeti mic was well and use SLOBS noise gates, able to eliminate my tv(gf watching) clickity clackity keyboard, and my fish tank filter on the other side of the room.

Great keyboard

I'm building a keyboard and really want Cherry MX Silent RGB Red/Pink switches. It doesn't look like anyone has them in stock, so is my best bet to buy the cheapest keyboard I can find with those switches and just desolder them out? Will that work, or would the pins have been shaved down and unusable or something?

And I don't suppose it'd be possible at all to get some Cherry MX Silent RGB Blacks without organizing a group buy for 8000 from the manufacturer?

Corsair's are best for your stated price range. Coolermaster's Quickfire line might also do you well. Here is a good listing on amazon. Link
