I wish we had plug switches in the States. I don't like leaving electronics chargers plugged in, because they constantly consume power even when they're not charging -- so I use one of these ugly switches on my outlets instead:

Recently purchased a counterflow chiller from Morebeer.com. Needed something to hold it and my pumps. Came up with this design. Used the following items: 2x 809 March pumps, Counterflow chiller, Fermemtap Thermometer, Stainless- 5/8" Comp. x 1/2" FPT, Stainless Tee - 1/2", Stainless - 1/2" mpt x 1/2" Barb, 2 ft of 1/2" silicone tubing, 3 outlet adapter, 2x Handy Switch, Several lengths of oak from Home Depot, and a few other fittings for the pump. The chiller and thermometer was put together similar to how Theelectricbrewery.com did it.
Connect the switch wires so that it's permanently on and use one of these to turn it on and off:
