You need a TRRS to TRS splitter and an XLR to 1/8" cable.
Do these look like the right kind of cable.

Great, thank you. I was waiting to hear back from the sound guy on the male/female issue. Do you have any experience with Hosa brand cables? I'd love to do it right and order the Sweetwater cable you linked to, but I only have a day or two and, well, Amazon shipping is great.
Edit: What about this combination:

Thanks! Don't need the TL;DR, I'm reading all the text you're posting. My computer does have a line-in jack, and I was wondering if I could just buy a XLR to 1/8 cable. I know that there are some issues with power and microphones, but the aforementioned mic is Dynamic (and therefore doesn't need phantom power?). Would I be able to just get a cable that goes from XLR to 1/8 and call it good? Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/GLS-Audio-Cable-Stereo-Female/dp/B006LQH2B2
I'm not using any TS or TRRS connectors for the sm7b, it connects via usb. This is the xlr to usb cable I bought. It's used to connect the arttube to my pc. I believe I configured it correctly, with or without the phantom power running, the hiss is still there. I should definitely try taking it a friend's house though, thanks for suggesting that.
The only solution I can think of would be to find a weird female USB to TS and hope it works like my combination headset. Or perhaps this cable?
