Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Replacement-Light-Shield-playstation-4/dp/B07645VNXW ships to the UK as well. I'd contact Sony support though, read about them being able to supply replacements too.

I wrote VR Cover the other day regarding a replacement for the face interface and got a reply yesterday that they had had "similar feedback from some users" and would look into the possibility of doing exactly what Ben is proposing in the article - developing a flexible rubberized PSVR style light shield replacement for the foam. So, that's promising. With the PSVR style light shield, it blocks out all light, but doesn't impair you from pushing your face as close to the optics as you want.

VR Cover said it would be a few weeks before they make any official announcements since they're still exploring options.

Meanwhile I'm going to be modding my Rift S with this. I've received it already. I'll know more once I get my Rift S of course, but my initial impression is that it ought to work...I'll probably only need some duct tape. This replacement has some raised rubber "bumps" on the part that makes contact with your face, which I'm not sure I if I'll like...not sure why they did that. Maybe the intention was to get more air between your skin and the rubber? I never had a problem with that on PSVR, though *shrug*. I'll make a post with details and thoughts once I get it set up.

I’m actually going to have my 10to son in charge of it.

I’m having a shirt made for him that says “master of games.” He’s been thoroughly trained on how to use the VR, as well as which games to suspend the cable and which to lay it on the ground. I have a lens cleaning pen that we use for the lenses(for some reason people always want to touch the damn lenses) and I was thinking about grabbing napkins for sweat on the light shield. Also ordered one of these in anticipation of it being damaged.
