Yeah, BMW Standard Tools is a software package and a giant pain in the ass to get setup right. You don't have to replace those o2 sensors but they're good for about 100k and they're only like $50 each on Amazon, and on my eBay headers they ended up in a pain-in-the-dick spot to replace. The post cats don't even bother putting in, you're gonna get a CEL either way. It'll know the cats are missing.
The options are: Spoofing the post-cat sensors, I did that on a MS45.1 I had and apparently it's way easier on MS43. Flashing Euro2 and dealing with it (it NEVER lights up for anything at all), or making a custom Euro2 flash (and when you go here you have even more options, my CEL worked normal, and if I turned the A/C off, a quick blip in neutral shot flames :P)
