I killed multiple $50 pairs of headphones sweating in to them before getting some Jaybirds which I've had now for three seasons of winter training and a lot of travel too. You can get the same ones I have on Amazon for around $80 right now, and the X2s as well.

I have the first gen Jaybird Bluebuds http://www.amazon.com/Jaybird-Bluebuds-Bluetooth-Headphones-Discontinued/dp/B00B6ZGSVI
They are the old first gens but they work well, sound great, and fit wonderfully, and don't cost that much.

Jaybird Bluebuds X are a little outside of your price range at $99 but I have had these for 3 years now and swear by them. Great sound and 8 hours of battery life easily. The silicone tips they come with don't stay in my ears very well so I bought some foam Comply tips that make an excellent combination.

I was surprised today with the Jaybird Bluebuds X as a reward for finally finding my groove and running consistently (5x/wk versus maybe 1x/wk). I think I figured out the right fit and can't wait to test them out tomorrow. I'm happy to say today is the last I'll have to wear earbuds that are always falling out (looking at you, Apple).

Additionally I am still pretty happy with my Nike Flyknit Lunar2 in obnoxious orange. I've been wearing them for about a year with no issue.

This - more expensive than some, but I regret nothing about this purchase.

in this case go for these

These have been on my wish list for awhile. They're pricey, but of the ones I've been researching, they seem to be the best.

Wireless bluetooth headphones, recommended by MKBHD! Looking into getting a pair myself

u/pianogamer005 · 2 pointsr/oneplus

I use Jaybird Bluebuds X for when I'm on the go (usually listening to podcasts on my way walking to class, or sometimes working out), and AudioTechnica ATH-M50xs when I'm more stationary or looking for something more comfortable and higher quality.

Depends on your price range. In the cheap range I have these http://amzn.com/B012SDC2A2 which are pretty decent but the sound quality isn't as good as it could be.

In the more expensive range, these are fantastic: http://amzn.com/B00B6ZGSVI They have great sound and have a lifetime guarantee against sweat. Pretty much the best you can get for your money.

Either way, getting rid of the cord to your phone/player is fantastic.

I saw these headphones for sale at a health fair. I haven't tried them while running, but I tried them on there. These are pricey, but they have little silicon bits that hook into your ear to keep them in during activity. http://amzn.com/B00B6ZGSVI

Well what edc items do you have already? With nothing to go on I'll recommend these headphones that I just picked up. 8 hour bluetooth with awesome sound quality and isolation.

I'm looking for some high quality clear voice earbuds, preferably wireless since most wired ones always gets tied up.
I found these two http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DIOALPE?pc_redir=1405595665&robot_redir=1

And i'm not sure if i should order one of them, are there any better earbuds you recommend

I have been looking for a new pair for myself. I can't seem to find a set that will stay put. Coincidentally enough, the ones that seem to work best for me are my old iphone ear buds - in-ears just seem to slide out.I do miss my Shure EC-2s though (cat ate them).

I've been looking at a few recommendations from /r/running including:

Hey there! Looking for some advice.

I'll be visiting the States in a couple weeks time and have been wanting new ear buds for a very long time.

I've heard many good things about the 215's sound and value, and the BlueBud's sound and convenience. Currently on Amazon, the BlueBuds X is $116USD whilst Shure 215 is $89USD. Is $27USD worth the difference?

Source: PC/Phone
Location: USA/AUS
Budget: $75-150 ---> Mostly looking for value
Isolation: Because I'll most likely be using it whilst I ride, isolation shouldn't be a lot, maybe some. Not a big deal
In public? Yes, not like a shopping center, more like a school classroom.
Preferred Type of Headphone: IEM's
Preferred tonal balance: Not an audiophile, preferably balanced - an all rounder
Preferred Music: I just listen to the radio's songs because im lazy :p
What would you like to improve on from your set-up: Just looking for a reliable, value orientated and excellent sound out of an IEM.

I am planning to use them few times a week for leisure listening and riding my bike. I'm also not a huge audiophile, just a guy looking for excellent sound and value.

Any advice/opinion would be appreciated!

I would spend a little extra and go with these

Jaybirds

I also use these. You can get the previous generation (which many people say are about the same as the X2s) for under $80 new on Amazon.

I have never been able to get Siri to work while riding because of wind noise, but it works when I'm stopped. Also, I've found that I need to keep my phone in the jersey pocket closest to the transmitter (my left ear) or sometimes the audio will cut out because it's trying to transmit through your body.

I turn them up barely enough to make out the podcasts I listen to, which also lets me hear my surroundings. It's worked out well.

edit: dumb typo

Hey folks!

I have never been a 'premium' headphone user, but today I forgot my headphones at home while I was at the gym, and made a quick pit stop to Best Buy and picked up these: http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/sport_headphones/index.jsp

At the time I didn't care how good/bad they were, I just wanted something comfortable to wear at the gym. However, the sound difference astonished me, and now here I am in this subreddit browsing around.

I am shopping around now for headphones that I can wear at the gym, without worrying about them falling out. These Bose ones were amazing, I was on the basketball court for 30 minutes and lifting, and had zero issues. I just don't know if they're worth the price.

I Googled and found these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B6ZGSVI/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_evknub0F73HFQ and was wondering if they're also worth the price?

I want something sweat proof, won't fall out of my ear, and wireless (not required, never had wireless but the concept seems cool.)

Note: I'm reading the Headphone Buying Guide as I speak, just wanted to post this as well.

Hey guys,

I have narrowed my possible headphone choices down to 5 kinds, but I'm kind of having trouble deciding which one to pick:

V-Moda XS: http://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-On-Ear-Folding-Noise-Isolating-Headphone/dp/B00GO4GMAI

V-Moda Crossfade LP2 with XL Ear pads bought separately: http://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-Crossfade-Over-Ear-Noise-Isolating-Headphone/dp/B00HYH7HXA/ref=pd_tcs_subst_e_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1C43YNNYY8MYCJEEA8DG

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x with FiiO E6 : http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-Professional-Headphones-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B00JZRXWRW/ref=pd_cp_MI_1

Jaybird BlueBuds X: http://www.amazon.com/JayBird-BlueBuds-Sport-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B00B6ZGSVI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=8-2&keywords=jaybird+bluebuds+x

and last but certainly not least: The Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro:
http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-Custom-One-Pro-Black/dp/B008XEYT48/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1409518695&sr=1-1&keywords=Beyerdynamic+custom+one+pro

I listen to a lot of EDM and rock, and occasionally some pop. I want headphones that would be able to block out some sound because I will be listening to these on the bus to school, so I want to basically drown out all the screaming freshmen girls :P I also want these to last a while, and they should be able to tolerate some sweat, because i sweat excessively even when I'm not working out. I am coming from the Bose QuietComfort 2 Headphones, and I want the sound to be an upgrade over that. Based on this information, which one out of these 5 would you recommend?
