I'm in the same boat - 3 kids, 3 c/s. I can't help you with the cheekies but lately I've been finding that a few styles of the Just My Size panties hit in that sweet spot between high waisted and just below the belly button so that my apron stays covered but they don't look like granny panties. It's a good, affordable compromise for me. As for the material, I just spray some jock itch powder under my apron everyday and it's never a problem - even through heavy workouts. These are the ones I wear and even though they say "hipster", they come up high enough if I buy the proper size.
