I agree with the bucoo. I have the micro. It's a great rod. Also look at falcon jason Christie. It's built on the bucoo micro blank and made in U.S.A..

Lew's Speed Stick. For$100 you get lightweight and sensitivity and Winn grips.

Look at clearance stuff. Sierra has a good deal on some TFO rods and some others

Cabelas has a,Castaway skeleton 6.5 for $113. I have a spinning rod and it's a bargain at that price.
