One thing I will say is if you drive any vehicle you are going to miss the xbox thumbsticks forever. I have both pc/xbox, but my PC took a shit on me about 20 hours in and I don't have the extra cash to replace the chip right now.

However, I have clocked 316 hours on the trusty xbox and I can tell you the thumbs are the way to go IMO.

The solution to this is to buy one of these and get the best of both worlds. It's more money, WEEEEEEEE!

Everyone has beef with the VOIP issue and they make good points. However I prefer Vent because it has been reliable over the years... The downside here is you may end up renting your own...

Finally, If you don't play FPS on PC normally there will be a huge adjustment period so don't get frustrated if you are getting bested by gun-play. My advice is, if you get stuck in a rut, take a break and watch some well known BF3 players play on the youtube. Another thing that almost always helps me if I get stuck in an aiming rut is switch to recon, grab a L96 with no attachments and go aggro. This should slow your pace down and force you to take your time on the mouse.

Or this one if you want the controller included. Any Wireless XBOX 360 controller works with either the Windows USB receiver or a 360.

Additionally, for older games that dont have a configurable "mouse look" option tied to the right analog stick...JoyToKey will allow you to map joystick buttons/keys to the keyboard & mouse.

You don't always have that option. They discontinued the plug-in controller, and the wireless one doesn't work with a PC.
Unless something has changed? Are you aware of some hot news that I may have missed?

You can buy the receiver separately, but Strijdhagen is right, the Wireless Windows Controller comes with the wireless receiver.

It's a bit expensive, but you can definitely set up a controller for couch playing, assuming your PC can be hooked up to your television.

Since you said you have a PS3 I assume that means you don't already own a 360 controller, but if you do then you can buy this and save a ton of money.

Skyrim comes with native Xbox 360 controller support, as was explained in one of the demos. Todd Howard said that he was using a 360 controller, but that he was playing on PC.

As everyone else has said Xbox 360 controllers are great. The Onza is a POS as far as I'm concerned, mine lasted less than 5-6 months. If u want a wireless 360 controller they sell them bundled with wireless receivers for pc.
