I have the dark version of this change purse thing. I've always been a front pocket kind of guy and this has been the best solution I've found so far.
Originally I got it while living in Switzerland, and had to deal with not just CHF coinage but also Euro coinage. So this was in addition to a typical tri-fold wallet that held notes and cards.
The flap on the front works well to hold maybe a half dozen cards (I'd like the US to stop having raised numbers on credit cards and go flat like Europe but that's an aside). The zipper area is just bigger than a piece of US currency folded in half, so it works quite well for cash there.
