I don't think the large amounts of powder that you would need to ingest will agree very well with the ulcers in your stomach....

I would recommend a kratom extract, but it's always a roll of the dice. You never know if it's going to be adulterated, or the true strength of it.

If you make it yourself, however, you may have a powerful tool that you can standardize the strength of; and one which you know will be free of adulterants. That's time-consuming and can also get pricey, though (especially if you're considering this as a long-term solution).

Maybe try other natural pain-killers? since the pain is localized in your leg, maybe something topical would be more suitable? A pure Arnica salve works wonders for my grandma's botched wrist surgery, and Capsicum is very powerful as well.

There's also Curcumin (+ piperine), Cat's Claw (Uncaria Tomentosa, which shares many alkaloids in common with kratom), Holy Basil (Ocimum Sanctum, a powerful COX-2 inflammatory enzyme inhibitor), and Skullcap (Scutellaria Baicalensis, which contains Baicalein, a potent anti-inflammatory), all of which are much more affordable and less addiction-provoking/habit-forming than kratom.

Any reason MJ isn't a solution for you? Have you ever considered a CBD extract (link has a lot of testimonials in the 'comments' section), if it's perhaps the THC that's causing negative symptoms?

Any vendor links are because those are my favorite (most efficacious) forms of those extracts/herbs that I've come across.

True Calm works for me, but I've never taken a beta blocker. Just makes me calm and grounded. Holy basil force, too. Also L-theanine.
