The Switch is region-free, so there is no will be no problem with game compatibility.
The power supply is 100v~240v @ 50hz/60hz, so it works just fine with a simple ~$1 Type G to Type B plug adapter.
Also, neon switch on amazon.co.uk is £259.99 at the moment
Edit: link
280 pounds for the console and 80 pounds for standard edition zelda (lol)

Charging a massive £10 less for a preowned couple of hundred pound piece of equipment...definitely worth the downsides...not.
disgusting they pay £105 less then what they sell them for. Think they can afford to competitively price them at that price.
First, I just checked Dixons @ Gatwick Airport and the Switch there sells for £269.00 that's only 99p less than Amazon UK.
Smyths has a deal for £319 including Mario + Rabbids and Rayman Legends.
If you buy from Argos Ebay it can go as low as £251.99 with checkout code for the Argos Ebay store PAYDAY10.
Both currys and even the nintendo store got deals with bundles.
In comparison the Switch in Dubai costs AED 1,325.00 that's currently about £255 which is in line with Argos Ebay discount at the moment. Now you need to consider exchange fees. If you were to exchange GBP to AED in order to get the Switch, using Travelex for example, in order to get AED 1,325.00 you would be paying about £270. Not worth the hassle unless you already got loads of that currency already and need to get rid of, but if you are travelling to Dubai and being so expensive you will need every bit of it XD.
As for region, no it's not locked.
I haven't unboxed my Switch yet but there are 3 games I am taking with me, Zelda, Super Mario and Mario Kart. I am also bringing a powerbank, although if you are travelling with Emirates you will be fine with power sockets. I will play Zelda as much as I can in order to disctract me as much until I feel the need for sleep.
Just for the standard console it comes to £275. So a little more resonable that is without a game though.

For those of you in the UK: there are still some Neon Red/Blue systems going on Amazon, so get 'em soon before they inevitably sell out!
EDIT: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand they're gone...EDIT 2: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand they're back!

100% this
I don't need it in the traditional sense, i won't starve without it or end up sleeping on the streets or have to sell my kidney to get one or die etc but it'd bring me an insane amount of joy and it's been a pipe dream to own one and would do so much for my joy in life, however ridiculous that sounds.
eye see what you did there!!
The grey is, but the neon isn't

Import? Amazon UK shows "IN STOCK ON MAY 5, 2017". So put in your calendar to be on the website for that day. And also perhaps Amazon.es will have stock shortly after that date?

I also want to buy this, if you wanna help me out would be nice :)
They've got the red/blue ones now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N4NBHPM/
I'm saving up for this, a nice new Nintendo Switch because my brother in law got one and it's so fucking infuriating when he's sat there playing Zelda and I want it.
I'm also saving up for this, because the customisable aspect of it just rocks. I have a few games where the paddles would kick ass, like Elite Dangerous, left paddle deploys landing gear, right paddle shoots a heat sink.
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this
