Yet you pretended that people who lost family members had a more valid opinion and for some strange reason can't handle having that turned around on you.
And yes, using someone's dead family member is an appeal to emotion.
> A FACT is; if your reduce the number of guns, you would reduce the amount of gun violence.
Really? There's 330,000,000+ guns in the US. There's 11k firearms homicides. If you reduce the guns to 30 million total, but murders go up to 50k a year, has violence increased or decreased?
> I’m not selling bullshit. I’ve lost loved ones due to LEGAL gun ownership. Las Vegas folks lost loved one’s due to LEGAL gun ownership. Several folks have lost loved ones due to LEGAL gun ownership.
What was that about not tugging on heartstrings? Do you seriously not pay attention to what you write?
> If you don’t feel like admitting that taking guns out of the equation would prevent gun violence
Oh, this should be good. Since magic, genies & time travel don't exist, how exactly do you propose removing all guns from the populace? I mean, we all laugh when Trump suggests deporting 11 million or so illegal aliens, and those are living breathing human beings who need food, water & air to survive, and can't be created out of home depot materials & equipment ordered off Amazon.com. Lest you think I'm kidding, there's a whole book series on how to make these things. I mean, let's be real here - Illinois requires you have a firearms owner ID card to even buy ammo and yet somehow criminals are able to obtain guns left and right there & blast each other on a daily basis.
I suspect that any war on guns is going to be a dismal failure like the War on Drugs - and last I checked it's pretty easy to score coke, heroin, meth, extacy, weed and all manner of other drugs, despite needing a prescription to get drugs legally.
> Fact is, you can’t shoot someone if you don’t have a gun.
You can't hug kids with nuclear arms, maaaaaaaaaan. Any other pithy aphorisms that have nothing to do with reality? Last time I checked, Mexico has exactly one gun store in the country, yet RPGs, machineguns & hand grenades seized there on the reg. Venezuela completely bans the ownership of guns, and has cops being murdered for their service weapons. Brazil likewise doesn't allow fireams ownership, guess how violent they are?
