I agree with this and I'm not sure on the '04 Laredo, but the '05 and up suffer from the yellow wire syndrome.

Edited to say, if your terminals connections are being corroded rapidly where you need to clean them all of the time, you may have bad terminals on your battery - releasing the corrosive gases in your battery right on your terminals and connections. Do you have one of these?
