Sandisk and Samsung already make real 256GB cards. Samsung gave them away with Galaxy Note 7 (and also S7 I think) preorders. Sandisk lists a 256GB one on their website and you can buy it sold by Amazon.
Playing on a huge map with max city-states, performance notably degrades late game, but I wouldn't say it's anything particularly major and the biggest issues (menu delay, sound cutting off, etc) go away if you close and re-load the game.
For u/Crooks-1 I'm playing digitally with the game loaded on this card.
There's a couple 256GB ones on Amazon too.
Comparable SanDisk for $149.
256GB, works in S7s, has been out for a while.
Edit: Apparently there are 512GB micros out now.
Here you go! 256 gb sd card. Should be able to record 3-4 shifts non stop. It could then just overwrite itself as it does now. And would only need to be removed when an incident happens, but would have 3 days worth of evidence instead of T+30 seconds IF they turned it on. Even if we upgraded that to a 512gb card so your have 1.5 weeks of video....at around $250 a piece..and at your 100 officers...that's $25k. If police forces can spend $250k on an Armored vehicle that doesn't get used...why can't they afford 25k and buy something that can ACTUALLY protect the Police AND civilians?

It was $100 January 13th, never been lower (on Amazon.) Who's to say when it'll drop again. It's been awhile though, maybe soon.
SanDisk was just $116 on Wednesday. https://camelcamelcamel.com/SanDisk-Ultra-MicroSDXC-Adapter-SDSQUNI-256G-GN6MA/product/B01IC0GJKE
It's this from Amazon (SanDisk Ultra 256GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter (SDSQUNI-256G-GN6MA)): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IC0GJKE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Do you purposefully downvote everyone who replies to you or is it just a reflex?
>How is having to buy two 128gb cards going to be cheaper than buying one bigger card?
1x 256GB = $200
vs
2x 128GB (what I already have) = $125.50
You're not good at this maths stuff are you? Kind of just like you not being good at Reddiquette
wonder if they'll price match that shit in canada for that 36% discount

I think you have microSD and SD cards confused. This is the highest capacity microSD card out right now. A 512GB prototype is out but will cost $1000. This is just the SD card. A 1TB prototype is out, but will cost $750 or so.
This should get you through the release of SQ42 and the first drop of the PU.

You can do better than a 128GB thumb drive. How about a 512GB SD card or a 256GB MicroSD card?
Its currently $223.37 in Canada. So with that discount it would be around $80 off. 200GB cost around $100 so even if 256gb went on sale for $143 (after $80 off) , I'm not sure if that's worth it.
There is a 256 gb card for $104 as well. The 128 has a better price per gb, but for those who have been looking for a 256 gb card thats not a bad price.

It'll come down in price further. This SanDisk card was literally the first Google search result, and has free 2 day shipping from Amazon Prime, for $140. I think 256GB will be <$100 by next spring. Granted if you just want memory now, that Samsung card is probably the way to go.

I don't think that's going to be enough storage for the Switch long term. I got this one for my 3DS where games are smaller and it's great, but I think the 256 GB one is better in the long run. It's on sale too for $119.99 ($80 off).
For those who want to go all digital. The 256g is roughly $45 less today for Prime day. ($105. It's usually around $150)
