Scosche Magicmount Pro and I stick it on the matte plastic on the left side below the volume knob. It's a perfect spot to plug in, and use while you are driving, and the magnet power is amazing, and the part that sticks to your phone is super low profile.

I recommend the Scosche MagicMount Pro - $30 on Amazon. It is one of the magnet/metal plate mounts, but given the design of your dash it seems to be either that or a CD-changer insert mount which makes it a bit inconvenient to play CDs.

I had used the original MagicMount for about two years then switched to the "Pro" model this summer when I switched head units in my car. The Pro model has stronger magnets, comes with a spacer to cut down on residue between the plate and mounting surface on the device/case, comes in multiple colors, and has a smaller base for easier mounting.

For a mounting location I'd recommend to the right of the Driver's Info Center next to the center stack's vent, it seems like that would fit.

This is by far the best I've ever used, the magnet is crazy strong.

Bear with me here: it’s a bit expensive and hacking two mounts together, but I think this is the best solution.

The Scoche Magic Mount is magnetic and awesome, but it needs to adhere to the interior. No thanks. The Beat Sonic QBF13 is a clip that fits on the passenger side panel and doesn’t adhere to anything, but requires the use of one of their bulky cases that don’t seem too stable.

They actually use the same ball joint to swivel the phone, so I tried just doing that, but t didn’t quite let me swivel the Magic Mount the way I liked. I ended up just unscrewing and pulling the plastic bits off the QBF13, drilling holes in the Magic Mount, then attaching it via the screws that came with the QBF13.

Granted, I basically paid $36 for a small piece of metal and some screws (honestly, isn’t that what all the other mods are anyway?), but I love it and wouldn’t trade it for any other mount.

I've used Scosche Magic mounts on my cars for years and they're great. You can see where it's mounted on the dash of my Focus in this picture (to the right of the hazard button) and when the phone is stuck to it I can reach the screen with my fingers without taking my hand off the shift knob.
