The Vortex Spitfire 3x should be okay. Make sure to use a lower mount with it, otherwise it'll sit too high. Here are some other options though.

Sightmark Wolfhound LR308 if you don't mind a higher magnification, as well as being a guinea pig to test how well it'll hold up.
