You can buy the newer model? http://www.amazon.com/Bose-SoundLink-Bluetooth-Speaker-III/dp/B00HWSXVDG/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
Or you can buy a cheaper Sony model that will probably sound the same: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SRSX5-Portable-Bluetooth-Wireless/dp/B00I053ICY/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1404170431&sr=1-5&keywords=bluetooth+speakers+sony

I can only suggest to you what I bought. I got one of these after listening to a bunch of different ones in stores. It was on sale for about 70 bucks. Connectivity is quick and easy, the sound quality is really great for what it is, the battery life is competitive, and the charging port can be used even when it's on battery, meaning I can charge my phone with it while on the go. Sound is pretty neutral and has a "Sound" button that can make it wider and more "loud".
I use a sony srs-btx300 which is now discontinued but it is the best speaker i have used by far. But some similar to it are the SRSX5 and SRSX3
If you want to save a little money, I recommend the Sony SRSX5 ($90). Supports aux input. I have this and am very pleased with the sound considering the size, battery life (about 8 hours), and price. Great response range, down to 50 Hz.
