I was just thinking about this, and how expensive it could get. Duvet covers can be reasonably inexpensive and look nice for photography (even the less expensive ones). These gray ones from Amazon might be a good update. This one has a subtle pattern and comes in a few colors. Pinch pleated duvet covers read nicely in photographs, I think. There are tons more examples on Amazon, and many for < $50. (We actually have and love a few of Amazon's Pinzon duvet covers, though those are a tiny bit more expensive, $50-60.)
