This one on amazon is awesome, and it’s hella useful since it’s so tiny!!

I know it’s frustrating to have to get an adapter - I had the same experience as you! But it does make it easier on the long run. 🥰

It's called a USB-C Male to USB-A Female adapter -- see Amazon UK link for an example.

This is assuming your phone uses a USB-C.

You can on the Lite and the original. Your brother is wrong.

And yep you just plug it into the port on the butt of the switch. You'll need an adapter like this

Here's a post about someone using a gamecube controller with their swite lite: https://nintendosoup.com/how-to-connect-your-gamecube-controller-to-the-nintendo-switch-lite/

I tried a hub but it got rather warm so decided to use cables and tiny adapters instead. It works out quite well. Note: I do most of my work in my study/office, so my MBP stays in there about 75% of the time.

I use a USB-C to HDMI cable like this to connect to a monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Highwings-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook-More-Gray/dp/B07G34RG5Z/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=usb+c+to+hdmi+cable&qid=1555777831&s=gateway&sr=8-4

I use tiny adapters like this to plug in a nice USB mouse: https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=usb+c+adapter+usb&qid=1555777917&s=gateway&sr=8-1

I kept my hub around since I need it to read an SD card from time to time. Also, the above links/products - I'm not sure they are the best ones out there, but I just wanted to give an example.

According to forums, my phone (pocophone) should support it by default and i did not find any setting that relates to it. Maybe the USB C adapter is problematic but i can not understand from product description

In this photo I'm just using the USB cable which got shipped with my camera. It has a USB A side and a USB C side.

To connect it with my phone I only used an adapter to change the USB A to USB C so that it could fit in the USB C port of my smartphone.

So if you already have a card reader, any card reader at all, all you need it this USB A to USB C adapter, they are very cheap. You just need to be able to have a usb cable connect your camera to your smartphone.

Something like this: USB A to USB C adapter.

But, if your phone has a micro USB port, then you need to have an adapter which can turn USB A into USB C.

Hope it's not to confusing.
Feel free to ask more if needed.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro. This is the adapter I use to connect my Push 2. It works perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CVX3516/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_ztmPDbPYQSY7K

*update

I can confirm that it works with USB dac. I'm using Onkyo HF Player and similar to this

adapter .

Maybe a normal USB 3 type A hub with something like this might work?

USB to HDMI Adapter, USB 3.0 to HDMI 1080P HD Audio Video Cable Converter, Audio Output for Multiple Monitors, Compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7 (Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SJQG4BF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Q1eCDb73XR3X1

I don't know if there will be lag due to limited bandwidth but it may be worth a try.

Then the MacBook will need a USB A to C adapter.

Yes it comes with a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A to Type B cable.

Is this the type of adapter you're referring to?
