If you want a better keyboard, go look for one. My wife had this one laying around and it found its way into our coffee table drawer. It is 80% flat so it doesn't take up much space in the drawer. Our other remotes sit on top of it. Now if we're needing to search for something on Netflix that requires typing in more than a few letters we just pull the keyboard out, flip the switch, and start typing.
Seriously, just spend the money and pick one up.
The Targus bluetooth keyboard, it's an awesome piece of kit! If you're jailbroken, get beekeyboard and your iPad has become 100% more useful.
